Quite the adventure!

I think I’m beginning to enjoy these returns after long intervals because they make me appreciate this space so much. As I look back, it’s been quite a year. I probably haven’t blogged as much as I wanted to but I’m happy because it’s been year filled with so many lessons. I’ve often wondered why I take off from here for strangely spaced out breaks and I think it has a lot to do with the journey I am on, with my body. Yes, there are somedays that I feel crappy about my body too, though those days are few now in comparison to what they were before. It’s hard sometimes to come here and write about what I feel because I really just want to curl up with a book and shut out the world. But I think I’m going to push myself to do it next year, or at least make an attempt to. I’ve realised over time that this blog is anything but perfect - it’s a constant work in progress and a reflection of how accepting your body for what it is, and understanding yourself is a long adventure too. There’s so much more that brewing in my head, so many experiences I’m waiting to share, but I’m going to hold on to them for now, till I find the words to put them down.

I was lucky to have Cover It Up kindly print one of my designs on this phone cover and send it across. I was a little apprehensive at first because a lot of attempts at customised products before haven’t turned out the way I’ve wanted them to - it’s either a horrid mess up with the resolution or a really bad material. But I was pleasantly surprised to receive this case because apart from being really sturdy, it was exciting to see my art printed exactly as it was created, without issues of colour, resolution or material. It has become a favourite of course because it is the perfect companion for every outfit in my wardrobe and always a lovely way to start a conversation. The best part about Cover It Up apart from the really good quality is that they don’t only cater to the iPhones. So you might just find a case for your phone there, seriously!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful year too - one filled with lots of love, experiences and excitement! Can’t wait to see what the next one brings, right?

I’ll be back here soon, I hope. But till then, I post daily on Instagram and Twitter, so you can catch up with lots of art and fashion there.

See you on the other side!
